GM to recall 44000 Chevy Sonics

U.S. automobile regulators said General Motors is preparing to recall 44,668 2012 Chevy Sonics due to malfunctioning windshield-wiper fluid systems. The wiper washer hose can separate from the fluid reservoir, preventing the driver from keeping the windshield clean, officials said. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said GM would initiate the recall on Sept. 7. Consumers may call 866-694-6546 for information.
