Hyundai's new Sonata aims to set new standards for mid-size sedans

The all-new Sonata aims to set new global standards for the highly competitive mid-size sedan segment with its refined styling, driving characteristics and top notch safety features, Hyundai Motor Co. said Tuesday. In a media conference to show off the first official rendering of the highly anticipated sedan that goes on sale this spring, Hyundai stressed it returned to the basics in making a car that drives and stops well, and provides the kind of driving experience that can be appreciated by all drivers. It added that highest attention has been paid to the functionality of the seventh iteration of the Sonata, with improvements made across the board.
