Iraq, largest market for Iran-made cars

Iraq was the largest market for Iran's exported cars in the first six months of the current Iranian calendar year (started on March 21). A recent report by the Iraqi Customs showed that Iraqi share of Iranian sedans totaled 59.2 percent in the first six months of the Iranian calendar year. Azerbaijan and Egypt ranked second and third with sharing 13.5 percent and 9.2 percent respectively, the Iranian students news agency reported. 18 percent of other Iranian cars were sent to other countries in the same period. Iran exported 2218 sedans valuing $16mln in the same period.
