
Al Majid Motors Co, the sole distributor of KIA Motors in the UAE, has launched the all-new KIA Grand Carnival during its ‘KIA on Tour’ road show event.
Featuring a bold and distinctive crossover utility vehicle (CUV)-style, the all-new KIA Grand Carnival boasts a substantially higher quality interior with more space and an improved array of safety and convenience features, said a statement.
Mohammed Khader, president of Al Majid Motors, KIA, said: “The all-new Grand Carnival with its high quality construction, better performance and higher level of specification, can comfortably accommodate up to eight passengers.
“Based on its impact in other markets, we are anticipating that following its launch in the UAE, the All-new Grand Carnival will result in increase of KIA vehicle sales in the country.”
The model is a stylish new entrant into the multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) category, providing an even greater level of luxury and sophistication than its predecessor. The appointment enhancements are allied to greater power from its up rated engine, said the statement.
Completely reconfigured for 2015 and built on a new chassis, it has introduced a wider-looking stance, a clean profile with CUV style and KIA’s typically bold ‘face’.
The car’s sportier, horizontal shape is aided by a strong crease that runs along the length of the car, which has more sculpted surfaces and a small rear spoiler.
The all-new Grand Carnival has been designed to offer a modern interpretation of the practical and versatile MPV, combining the on-road presence of a CUV with the luxury of a sedan.
It is also is equipped with a range of advanced on-board technologies installed to improve the car’s capabilities and owner and occupant satisfaction.
