The 2014 Chevrolet Impala has been teased ahead of its debut at this week’s New York motor show. The all-new model is the tenth generation of the model, which was introduced in 1958. Chevrolet’s teaser shots show the leaping impala emblem mounted on the C-pillar. The side window line ends in a flourish similar to BMW’s hofmeister kink. The Impala is based on GM’s Epsilon II platform, which underpins the Vauxhall Insignia and Saab 9-5. It is expected the engine line-up will include V6, a turbocharged four-cylinder and hybrid power trains Chevrolet will debut the Impala alongside a facelifted version of its Traverse crossover.
