
The sporting image of the XFR is enhanced with a range of design features reflecting the car's high performance credentials — the front grilles are finished in black mesh, an exclusive bumper design houses twin air intakes, and twin louvers on the bonnet feature a 'Supercharged' motif. The theme continues with side sill extensions, rear valance, aerodynamic boot spoiler, quad exhaust pipes and R badges on the front grille, seats, steering wheel and boot lid. The engine 5.0 liter AJ-V8 510PS has supercharged 6-speed automatic transmission with Jaguar sequential shift and JaguarDrive selector, JaguarDrive control with dynamic and winter mode adaptive dynamics. It has enhanced styling features, including lower valance panels, streamlined front wings with revised power vents, addition of boot lid finisher and 'R' badging. The XFR has 20" Nevis alloy wheels as standard. The new XF's dynamic lines can be accentuated with the optional aerodynamic pack. The unique front bumper design features black mesh inserts for the lower air intakes. Along the side sills there are sculpted appliques, while the boot lid features a distinctive spoiler. In addition, the pack is now compatible with adaptive cruise control. The XF's reinforced bodyshell incorporates new-generation high-strength steels to create a vertical safety ring around the cabin. Ultrasonic sensors in the new XF's rear bumper are designed to detect objects up to 1.8m away and provide the driver with an audible warning. At the same time, graphics on the touch-screen represent where the object is in relation to the car. The new XF also offers the option of combining a front parking aid — designed to alert the driver to objects ahead of the car — and a rear camera parking aid, which displays video from a rear-facing digital camera on the touch-screen.
