
TVS Automobile Solutions, a group company of TVS Group, said it is planning to set up a total of 75 new multi-brand car servicing outlets by this fiscal-end. “All total 75 new units would be set up by the end of this financial year. Some of these would be our own units and the rest will be through joint ventures,” TVSASL president R. Srivatchan told reporters here. Srivatchan said 30 car servicing units were already running across the country under TVSASL and the company was eyeing to take it to around 47 units at the end of this financial year. He was in the city on the occasion of commencement of operation of an outlet of ‘MyTVS’, the popular brand of TVSASL. This outlet was built by TVS Rajgarhia Automobile Solutions, a new joint-venture company of TVSASL and Kolkata-based Rajgarhia group. TVSASL is also looking at expanding its presence in the country through franchise units. “Currently, we have 35 franchise units. This year we will be putting another 65 units to make it to 100 units,” Srivatchan said. The company was aiming to have about 400 franchise outlets in the long-run, he said.
