Anadolu Agency (AA) accelerated its structuring work abroad within scope of its centennial vision of broadcasting in eleven languages. Anadolu Agency has increased the number of languages it's broadcasting to five in the last two years with the inclusion of English, Arabic, Bosnian and Russian alongside Turkish. Anadolu Agency aims to broadcast in 11 languages by 2020 by strengthening its structuring in nine regions. AA moves towards its goal of getting its place among the top five agencies in the world by increasing its number of news, photos and videos significantly and enhance their content. David Schlesinger, former chairman of Thomson Reuters China and founder and managing director of Tripod Advisors, will contribute to structuring work abroad of Anadolu Agency. Anadolu Agency's Deputy Director General and Marketing Director Cagatay Culcuoglu stated that they wanted to build Anadolu Agency's foreign structure on a solid basis and therefore make use of the experience of Schlesinger. Culcuoglu emphasized the experience of Schlesinger in global media strategies and added that he would contribute significantly to the structuring of Anadolu Agency in foreign countries. David Schlesinger is the founder and Managing Director of the media and China independent consultants Tripod Advisors, a D.A. Schlesinger Limited company, based in Hong Kong. He worked as editor in chief of Thomson Reuters China until August 2012 after serving as Global Managing Editor of Reuters Group from October 2003 to January 2007.
