Bahrain attends conference on social media risks

Interior Ministry Undersecretary, Shaikh Nasser bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa is taking part in a regional conference in Kuwait on the protection of children from the risks of social media. The Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior is organizing the three-day event opened today and will run until Thursday (March23).
The conference focuses on the role of the family in protecting children and it includes a number of workshops. The Undersecretary highlighted the importance to work hard to protect children from online risks and the Cyber Crime Directorate continues to take the required legal steps to ensure that all segments in society are using the internet safely.
