
Minister of Tourism Khaled Ramy held a meeting on Sunday with a raft of Bulgarian journalists to discuss plans and programs of the ministry to develop tourism sector in Egypt.

Rami briefed the participants on the ministry’s strategy until 2020.
The ministry seeks to attract 20 million tourists by 2020 through various promotional activities and organizing a number of events to promote tourism, Ramy said.
Rami said that Egypt has unique potentials for beach tourism on the coasts of the Red Sea, Sharm El Sheikh and Hurghada.
As many as 17 companies have submitted their bids to award tenders for the integrated promotional campaign that will be launched during the coming months, he said.
