
A Grievances committee is to be re-established to handle complaints by employees at the Ministry of Information, head of the committee announced Saturday. This move will be taken upon instructions of the Minister of Information and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Sheikh Salman Sabah Salem Al-Homoud Al-Sabah who strives to provide a just treatment for all his ministry's staff.
Director of coordination and follow-up at the administrative and financial department at the Ministry Dr. Yaseen Al-Farisi told KUNA that the committee consists of legal specialists who are well capable of handling the employees' complaints.
He said that the committee will start holding extensive meetings next week to lay down the guidelines of its function. Dr. Al-Farisi added that the committee will welcome everyone who has any criticism or complaints, noting that everything will be dealt with transparently.
