Sharjah Media celebrates Urdu interpretation of Quran

In reflection of the directives of H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah in consolidating the values and concepts of Holy Quran among Urdu-speaking community, the Sharjah Media Corp. has completed Quran Interpretation (Tafseer) in Urdu language under the Tafseer Quran Al Kareem program. According to Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qassimi, Chairman of Sharjah Media Corporation, the interpretation of the Holy Quran has succeeded over the past seven years to build a large listener's base as the ideal platform for the definition of the correct Islamic message and meaning for Urdu speaking community. He pointed out that program was launched in 1996 as an extension to support Sheikh Sultan's initiative to preserve heritage and identity of Islamic values, and his constant access to learning science and service to Islam and Muslims.
