
The Board Chairman and Director-General of KUNA Sheikh Mubarak Al-Duaij Al-Ibrahim Al-Sabah Wednesday made an inspection tour to KUNA's Bureau here to get acquainted closely with performance of the staff. The Board Chairman listened to proposals of the staff to raise the level of the bureau to help it be able to cope with press work development.
During the tour, Sheikh Mubarak Al-Duaij reiterated that the staff should benefit from state-of-art technology in the field work to ensure credibility and speediness of news that are transmitted to the headquarters of KUNA in Kuwait, urging employees to keep good professional relations with German institutions, especially governmental ones to ensure maximum efficiency. Sheikh Mubarak Al-Duaij focused on the value of varied news, including political, economic, cultural, social sports fields, in addition to reports backed by photographs.
Earlier Wednesday, Sheikh Mubarak Al-Duaij Al-Ibrahim Al-Sabah held talks with the Chairman of Media in Cooperation and Transition (MICT) Klaas Glenewinkel, discussing ways of boosting cooperation between the two media institutions.
