Sisi stresses media plays important role in promoting national unity

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has stressed the important role of media in the current stage, particularly in promoting national unity and rebuilding trust in the State.
It is also important to renew the religious discourse, Sisi said in a meeting on Tuesday with a media delegation that covered his visit to Kuwait, praising Al Azhar as a symbol of moderate Islam.
Sisi also touched upon the outcome of his Kuwait visit, which ended earlier today.
He spoke of similar views that Cairo and Kuwait share. Kuwait, Sisi added, is also willing to pump more investments in Egypt, once legislation to lure business is endorsed.
