
Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) Chairman and Director General Sheikh Mubarak Al-Duaij Al-Ibrahim Al-Sabah discussed here Monday with visiting British news agency Press Association (PA) Chief Executive Officer Clive Marshall means to boost cooperation between the two agencies.
During the meeting, the two officials explored areas of cooperation to keep abreast of the rapid developments in the media domain. They also discussed the PA's contribution to the development of different sections of KUNA.
KUNA has recently hosted a counselor from PA to assess development requirements of KUNA's editorial and photos sections.
The meeting was also attended by KUNA Deputy Director General for Financial, Administrative and Communication Affairs and Acting Deputy Director General for Editorial Affairs Abdulhameed Malak.
A delegation from KUNA headed by Chairman Sheikh Mubarak visited Press Association headquarters early this year to discuss bilateral cooperation.
