State Secretary for Youth Belkacem Mellah announced Monday in Mascara that the Prime Minister gave his approval for the creation of a satellite TV channel for youth. During a news conference on the sidelines of his visit to the province, Mellah said that Prime Minister approved the creation of TV channel dedicated to youth and he demanded necessary measures to achieve this project as soon as possible. "The State Secretariat for youth will manage this channel," he added. Moreover, State Secretary noted resumption of Youth Centres activities during these five last months, witnessing a strong affluence of youngsters, set to double in the future through some measures taken as free internet connections, the extensions of centres opening to midnight and the authorization to the associations to operate within these centres and to contribute to their supervision.
