When Conan O'Brien took his late-night show to Comic Con this week, he took the road less traveled, Fury Road.
Channeling one of this year's box-office hits, Mad Max as their theme, O'Brien, Andy Ritcher and the Basic Cable Band dressed in full costumes and arrived at the convention on a war rig along with a flame-bursting guitar in tow.
The drive didn't end without any complications. Ritcher, who was donning an Immortan Joe get-up, got out of the car and told the late-night host they got lost along the California freeway.
"The guitar is so loud I can't hear the GPS," Richter told Conan. But they end up back on the right track and reach their final destination in San Diego.
