Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams will return as coaches on The Voice season 9.
The NBC reality competition announced the news Wednesday on Twitter, writing, "Say [hi] to your season 9 coaches @adamlevine @blakeshelton @pharrell & @gwenstefani #TheVoice."
Levine and Shelton have served as coaches since season 1, while Stefani and Williams joined the program in season 7. Stefani was brought on to replace Christina Aguilera, who is focusing on motherhood and other projects.
"I'm coming back and I'm so excited!" Stefani told BuzzFeed. "I can't believe I get to return to The Voice. It's so inspiring to be around such incredible talent and music. I'm looking forward to working again with Adam, Blake and Pharrell. I love those guys."
"With such an outstanding group of coaches at the peak of their musical ingenuity and Carson [Daly] returning as our host, we are thrilled for what season 9 will bring," NBC alternative and late night programming president Paul Telegdy said.
The Voice premiered in 2011, and will return for season 9 in the fall. Team Blake has won a record four times, with Team Adam in second place with two. Team Pharrell contestant Sawyer Fredericks gave Williams his first win last season.
