
Kuwait Television will dispatch a very large team of staff, with state-of-art equipment, to Riyadh to cover the 22nd Arabian Gulf Cup Tournament due later this month, said a Ministry of Information's official on Saturday.
Yusuf Mustafa, the assistant undersecretary for television affairs, indicated in remarks to KUNA that the planned dispatch of the large coverage team to the Saudi capital is due to the awareness that the GCC championship is very popular in the GCC countries.
The TV team will include renowned commentators and will interview famous players.
The KTV canal-3 will air the games live along with diverse programs related to the matches.
Mustafa affirmed the keenness on abiding by guidelines of the Minister of Information, Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Sheikh Salman Sabah Al-Salem Al-Humoud Al-Sabah to provide all possibilities for the team covering the sports event.
