Spike TV says it is planning to stage a live edition of its TV series Lip Sync Battle in New York's Central Park July 13.
LL Cool J is to host the event, while Chrissy Teigen will provide the color commentary. The competitors have not been announced yet. Past participants have been Jimmy Fallon, Dwayne Johnson, Anne Hathaway, Queen Latifah, Marlon Wayans, Terry Crews, Julianne Hough, Emily Blunt, John Krasinski and Mike Tyson.
"Lip Sync Battle was born and raised in New York City," Casey Patterson, the show's executive producer, said in a statement Wednesday.
"We're honored to be doing our first-ever live show from New York in Central Park. The event will be free for our amazing fans. Central Park is a magical setting with an incredible music legacy, and we can't wait to rock it!"
The event will not be televised, the cable television network said.
