TV star Nagwa Ibrahim is set to make a comeback to Egyptian television, after a long absence, it has emerged. In an exclusive interview with Arabstoday, Ibrahim confirmed she is set to appear in the upcoming TV series Mama Najwa. Ibrahim also revealed she is currently “working intensively” to prepare for the role. “I am keen to get back to working on a long show that suits my long history. I think the show will attract a big audience as well as advertisers to Egyptian television,” she said. She added that the program is aimed at educating children, although Ibrahim refused to disclose any details about the plot or role she will be playing. Ibrahim urged Egyptian TV producers on focus more on creating educating programs for children, saying “children are the hope for advancement in the future.” She added that these programs contribute deeply in delivering information in concise ways.
