Available in two languages, Arabic and English, the free-to-download App is suitable for iOS-powered iPhones, iPads, and Android-operated mobiles and tablets, and features constant updates on the full list of events taking place in the emirate.
"This is an initiative to make our residents and visitors more aware of just how much is happening in the emirate and to enable them to explore them at ease," said Mouza Al Shamsi, Acting Executive Director Marketing and Communications, TCA Abu Dhabi.
The App features an option to add events and alerts to personalised online calendars on social media integration and to check a map to pin down the location of individual happenings.
"Abu Dhabi is an eventful destination with a calendar packed with happenings across a host of sectors, including leisure, entertainment, social and business," explained Al Shamsi. "The App, which is another move in our aim of taking our destination direct to our audiences, also helps us to support our ever growing stakeholder base by assisting in building awareness of their initiatives."
