An interruption in web broadcasts from Moscow polling stations was caused by a failure of the software, press service of Moscow City’s IT Department said on Sunday. “The failure lasted from 08:45 through to 09:00 at about ten percent of the polling stations,” the press service said. “This has not affected stored data, as the recording is also reserved at the city’s data processing centre.” Presently, all the broadcasts function normally, the press service said. Many Internet users, who wanted to watch a broadcast from a polling stations, saw only a message, which read: “Sorry! Broadcast is not possible for technical reasons.” The broadcasts are available directly on http://vybory.mos.ru or via several popular social networks. In Moscow, there are 3,397 polling stations, which will be opened through to 20:00. The list of registered voters contains 7 million 176 thousand and 568 names.
