The Google Company does not give any access to its databases for the third persons at any place in the world, Google Vice-President for Southern and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa Carlo d’Asaro Biondo said at a meeting with head of the ad hoc Federation Council committee for the development of the information society Ruslan Gattarov from the Chelyabinsk region here on Thursday. For his part, Gattarov remained satisfied with the information, which the company produced. “We heard this position and are very glad that we are building again constructive cooperation with the Google Company,” the senator said in conclusion. The Thursday meeting between the Google high-ranking official and the head of the ad hoc committee of the upper house of Russian parliament was held at the initiative of Biondo, who particularly proposed to discuss the claims, which the Federation Council has made to Google. Gattarov earlier voiced suspicions over possible violations of Russian legislation in the user agreement of the company and made relevant requests in the Prosecutor General’s Office, the Russian telecommunications watchdog and the Federal Taxation Service.
