The Chairman of Muharraq Social Welfare Centre, Waleed Abdullah Al-Zamil, received the Gulf Petrochemical Company "GPIC"'s President Dr. Abdulrahman Jawahery on Tuesday at the Centre.
The meeting was attended by several members of the Executive Management.
Dr. Jawahery presented GPIC's financial support to the programmes and activities of the Centre. This support comes in fulfillment of the company's social responsibility, which is as important as the rest of its responsibilities, assuring the company's commitment to continue to provide all forms of support to all humanitarian and philanthropic institutions in the Kingdom.
Dr. Jawahery expressed his hope that this donation will contribute to the promotion and support the development programmes and activities of the Centre for the benefit of this precious part our society.
Al-Zamil offered deep gratitude and appreciation to Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa, the Advisor of HRH the Prime Minister for Industrial and Oil Affairs also the Chairman of GPIC's Board of Directors, for this generous donation, noting the important role played by the said company in the field of social responsibility and its supporting associations, clubs, and care homes in the Kingdom.
