Korean government to ease nighttime curfew on teens' online gaming

The government said Monday it will give parents the option to lift the nighttime online gaming ban for their teenagers as some parents and the gaming industry have complained that the regulation is too excessive.
Online game operators are currently banned from providing services to children under age 15 from midnight to 6 a.m. under the revision to the Youth Protection Law that came into force in 2011 to protect children from game addiction.
