
Undersecretary for Education Affairs and Curricula at Ministry of Education, Dr. Abdullah Yousif Al Mutawaa inaugurated the National Training Workshop in the field of statistical data for ALECSO questionnaires. The workshop was organized by Bahrain National Committee for Education, Sciences and Culture in collaboration with the Arab Organization for Education, Culture and Sciences (ALECSO) at the headquarters of the Regional Centre for Information and Communication Technology. On the other hand, the workshop was presented by Engineer Salem Emmari, the managing expert at ALECSO, with the participation of 40 specialists in the field of statistical data from various sectors. Undersecretary of the Education Ministry said in the speech he delivered that the workshop came in the framework of the Kingdom’s great concern with the statistical field because of its important role in identifying the problems and indicating the defects, in addition to contributing in diagnosing and solving them. Dr. Al-Mutawaa highlighted that such field had become a starting point to know about the expected outcomes for the purpose of research, development and innovation. The Secretary General for Bahrain National Committee for Education, Sciences and Culture, Ghazi Al-Marzooq stressed that such field has been allocated a full care, where the Kingdom had become a pioneer in some of the new statistical fields, like the communications and information statistics Ghazi Al-Marzooq highlighted that such workshops are important to develop the current teamwork at all the various ministries. For his part, Engineer Salem Emmari said that the workshop aims at informing about the aims and importance of the questionnaires of ALECSO seeking the improvement of the capacities level in analyzing questionnaires, as well as exchanging experiences.
