The United Nations has hailed the Khalifa bin Zayed Humanitarian Foundation (KZHF) for its adoption of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed School in Bait Lahia, Gaza for the third consecutive year and described it as a distinguished partnership following the Israeli assault on Gaza strip in the late 2008 and the beginning of 2009. The school is affiliated with United Nations Relief Work Agency for Palestinian Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA). United Nations Radio reported the partnership, which is represented in a continuous and outstanding support for Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed School in Bait Lahia, gives a hope for students and parents in Gaza. UNRWA media consultant in Gaza Adnan Abu-Hasana appreciated KZHF for its permanent support towards the UN organisation and its educational programs.
