Bahraini higher education council issues annual report
The Higher Education Council (HEC)

The Higher Education Council (HEC) has issued its annual report for 2013.
Titled "Higher Education: Achievements and Challenges", the report features 15 chapters showcasing key academic achievements last year.
The survey compiles key resolutions and decisions which were issued by the board and its general secretariat, stressing particularly the development of the national higher education and scientific research strategy and the accreditation system.
The national framework for academic staff professional development, and the amendments on the law on higher education and relevant bylaws also feature in the HEC 2013 Report.
