
A number of Qatari ministers praised on Monday the establishment of the Education Excellence Day, which helps the country discover scientific potential in the younger generation.
HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud praised the initiative, saying it was an incentive for students to seek excellence in science and education. Responding to a question from Qatar News Agency, HE the Minister said that education is a main component of development in any knowledge-based society.
For his part, HE Minister of Endowments and Islamic Affairs Dr. Ghaith bin Mubarak Al Kuwari said that celebrating distinguished students sets the stage for a brighter future for the State of Qatar.
