
Water Resources and Irrigation Minister Hossam Moghazi announced that scholarships at Alexandria University will be provided to technicians in South Sudan.
The minister's remark came during a joint press conference with his South Sudanese counterpart Jemma Nunu who is currently visiting Egypt.
The two ministers held two-day discussions where they agreed to set rules to administer water resources and underlined the importance of exchanging visits on the ministerial and technical levels.
They agreed also on joining efforts to face future challenges and achieve joint goals for the welfare of the coming generations.
Egyptian Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab met also with Nunu where Mahlab underscored the importance of activating agreements inked between the two countries.
