Al-Faisal university gains license of US medical board

The Riyadh-based Al-Faisal University has acquired the international license of the U.S. State of California Medical Board which enables its students to sit for higher studies exams and training, including medicine and surgery certificates. Through its participation in the ECFMG and NRMP, two U.S. advanced medical programs, Al-Faisal University's graduates will have the right to register and complete training procedures and medical residence programs in the U.S. Already inserted in the International Medical Education Directory (IMED), the World Health Organization (WHO) and Ibn Sina and Medical schools directory, Al-Faisal University is planning to get the final licenses of all universities in the world, without exception, officials say.
