Alexanderia university not to be scene of political battles

With the new academic year approaching, the head of Alexandria University stressed on Wednesday that the campus will not be the scene of any political or partisan battles.
"We will not allow anyone to attack the university buildings or jeopardize safety of students and teaching staff," he said while attending a meeting of the Faculty of Literature.
Students have all the right to express their opinion without violating the university regulations, he said.
He warned that any violator will be referred to the disciplinary panel to take necessary action against him.
