
Port Said University has finished preparations for the new academic year, said the University's acting president Alaa Hamed on Friday.
Hamed asserted there is no intention to postpone the academic year any further, pointing out that the University is going to seal a deal with a private security company to guard campus facilities.
The university has coordinated with Port Said security directorate to deal with any potential protests or riots by the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood group.
In the meantime, Acting President of Minya University Gamal Abu al-Magd said that all preparations for the new academic year are over.
Abu al-Magd vowed firm action against political and partisan activities on campus.
