
President of South Valley University Abbas Mansour has hailed a ceremony held Sunday to honor distinguished students, that was attended by President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi.
The ceremony reflects the great interest of the state and the political leadership of the university system and students, Mansour said.
He called on students to exercise caution and not to join any group aims at harming Egypt's interests.
During the ceremony, the President granted Order of Excellence of second class to top students from various Egyptian Universities during the 2013/2014 academic year.
The state is interested in developing the universities to assume their roles in spreading the message of science and enlightenment and raising the awareness of students in all walks of life, Sisi said.
