
The Abu Dhabi Police GHQ has sent a delegation of women leaders to the United Kingdom to attend the Leadership Development and Supervisory Skills Programme for Women for the MENA Region. The delegation included Captain Faten Mohammed Manahi, Strategy Branch Manager, at the Director General of Finance and Services' Office; Lieutenant Jamila Abdurrahman Yaqub, from the Medical Services Department; and Senior Administrative Basma Talib Al Attas, Strategic Planning Branch Manager, at the Training Department. It is noteworthy that the five-week programme is organized in cooperation with the Police College at Bramshill in the United Kingdom and the National Policing Improvement Agency (NPIA). The initiative aims to develop women police staff members' leadership and supervisory skills; promote and develop leaders, and qualify them to face difficulties and address them.
