The 4th Congress of the Arab Women Organisation (AWO) has an improvement of women’s rights across the regions as well as removing obstacles faced by Arab women who want to work. The three-day conference sponsored by Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika, concluded in Algiers on Wednesday. During the conference which attracted delegations of politicians and officials from 15 member countries of the AWO, the participants presented several successful experiments that showed undoubtedly that Arab women are able to overcome different challenges facing them and to hold pioneering positions in various sectors in the Arab society. They also agreed that this year's session of the 4th AWO conference was a “complete success”, saying that it launched a fresh website promoting women's rights in Arab legislations. Chairperson of the Kuwaiti cabinet's Committee on Women's Affairs Sheikha Latifa Al-Fahad Al-Salem Al-Sabah led Kuwait's delegation and praised this year’s conference.
