
The Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI)'s board of directors member Afnan Rashid Al Zayani presided over the regular meeting of the Businesswomen's Committee.
The committee discussed its plan to organize a familiarization function for BCCI members in the foreseeable future and announced its intention to mutually agree on cooperation with the SMEs Committee and other relevant committees in the Chamber so as to find efficient solutions for difficulties and obstacles facing SMEs entrepreneurs in Bahrain.
The meeting discussed various topics, including the participation of two members from the committee in the State of Qatar's International Businesswomen Forum, as well as the invitation to a reading session regarding Law 50/2014 which stipulated the amendment of some provisions of Commercial Companies Law issued in September 2014.
The forum will serve the BCCI's vision and mission as an effective and influential voice in order to help the private sector contribute into the Kingdom's national economy.
