.?Arab Women Organisation director-general Wadouda Badran hailed the important role played the Supreme Council for Women, describing its work as based on national plans and policies aimed at promoting the status of Bahraini women. She made the comments as the Kingdom celebrates the 10th anniversary of the Supreme Council for Women and Bahrain Women Day. She paid tribute to Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al-Khalifa, wife of His Majesty King Hamad and President of the Supreme Council for Women for her crucial role in promoting women's status and ensuring her empowerment in all fields.
