
Minister of Culture, Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, today, received Korean Charge d’Affaires Jonha Yu to discuss common cultural ideas, in line with getting acquainted with people's cultural heritage. Culture Minister expressed the Ministry's keenness to develop communication cooperation and to benefit from the experiences of other civilizations and cultures. The two parties discussed holding a Korean exhibition featuring Korean fashion and traditional handcrafts that accentuate their relationship to the Korean customs and traditions stemming from the nature of Korean. A well-known Korean fashion designer will present some of his works that are inspired from the Korean folklore. The Korean Charge d’Affaires invited the Minister of Culture to attend the National Day celebration in the Korean embassy in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and stressed keenness to achieve cultural communication between the two countries.
