
His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today held a telephone conversation with Bahrain Royal Endurance lady riders team, Shaikha Najla bint Salman bin Saqer Al Khalifa, Dana Al-Dosari and Manal Fakhrawi, after they won the second, fourth and fifth places in Her Highness Shaikha Fatima bint Mubarak Ladies Endurance Cup.
HM the King commended the efforts made by Bahrain endurance lady riders that have reflected their determination and willingness to promote Bahrain's standing in such a grand sport forum.
More than 100 lady riders from 15 European and Gulf countries contested in the event held today in the Italian city of Verona.
Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), President of Bahrain Olympic Committee and Honorary President of Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation, Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al khalifa, also held a phone conversation with the three lady riders to congratulate them on their achievements that added to the previous accomplishments made by Bahraini lady riders in international sport forums.
Shaikh Nasser hailed the level of aptitude and competitiveness displayed by the three riders.
