The Supreme Council for Women (SCW)'s General Secretariat has finalized the implementation of the second phase of Family Guidance and Orientation Program in collaboration with the Ministry of Education.The program provides constructive foundation training for family counseling and consensus coaches aimed to impart the necessary skills for would-be couples in order to achieve familial consensus, build a positive image of familial life, reduce the rate of divorce and curb case of domestic violence.The program has been implemented in three stages under the direct capable supervision of psychiatrist Benna Bosbon.The first stage was meant to increase awareness in young males and females in secondary schools and universities, visiting 44 schools and educational institutions targeting more than 4000 male and female students.The second stage dealt with implementing training within realistic family background for a number of male and female participants including social workers in public schools and staff members in the Ministry of Education, whereas the first phase was implemented in schools and universities.The third stage is aimed at imparting of training skills in the targeted subjects
