Dr Badhrees, first non-American winner of physicist of month award

The American Physical Society (APS), has chosen the researcher at the National Center for Micro-Techniques at King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology, Dr. Ibtisam Badharas, to be the first non-US physicist to receive the physicist of the month award for the month of August of the year 2014.
She won the prize for her positive role in the physics community and was also nominated to be a member of the jurist on scientific posters in its international conference in April this year.
