Egyptian girl wins international 1500-meter running race

Egyptian girl Zeena Walid El Zomor, 13, won a gold medal in the 1,500 meters race in a competition held between the US schools in Europe and the Middle East.
El Zomor represented the American Community School in Beirut in the annual international competition of American schools in Europe and the Middle East, which was held in Athens.
She also won the silver medal in the 400 meters race.
The Egyptian embassy in Beirut honored the girl who arrived in Beirut on Saturday.
