Elderly woman dies of heat stroke in Suez

An elderly woman has died of a heat stroke in Suez, the health ministry said on Tuesday.
The woman died shortly after arriving at an emergency unit in the Suez public hospital, the ministry said.
The ministry said a scorching heatwave over the past week has killed another person in Suez.
August is normally a hot month in Egypt, but temperatures have been higher than average over the past few days.
The health ministry advised the elderly, the sick, and children to avoid direct exposure to the sun.
