The State Security Circuit of the Federal Supreme Court on Tuesday decided to refer A.B.A, the woman accused of killing American teacher Ibolya Ryan in Abu Dhabi on 1 December 2014, to psychological tests to determine her mental health condition.
The case is locally known as the ''Reem Island Ghost Murder.'' The Court, presided over by judge Falah Al Hajeri, adjourned hearing to 27th April to pursue pleadings and hear more prosecution witnesses.
In the last session, the court delegated a medical committee to examine the accused and prepare a detailed report on her psychological and health condition after putting her under strict supervision.
A.B.A appeared at today's hearing along with her relatives, and representatives of the media and civil society organisations.
