
Russia’s Federal Service for Execution of Punishment (FSEP) denies the statement about the alleged striping of water with application of force from convicted Pussy Riot member Nadezhda Tolokonnikova. This was reported on Friday by the FSEP press service. “In Tolokonnikova’s cell, the drinking water was changed for warm water, as recommended by medics; there was no applying of force,” the spokesperson said. He added that the investigator visited Tolokonnikova after the incident. Earlier, on Thursday, the husband of the convicted, Petr Verzilov told journalists that Tolokonnikova that is on a hunger strike was left with no drinking water at all, and a labor camp employee applied force against her.
