
Gulf Air, the national carrier, celebrated Bahraini Women’s Day today with a special event at its Muharraq headquarters in addition to the launch of a dedicated week-long tribute to key Bahraini female members of the airline’s workforce across official social media platforms. The Bahraini women that were recognized in the social media campaign were Mrs. Kavita Al Jassim, Gulf Air Senior Manager Customer Experience and WACRA Chairperson, Mrs. Hala Azam, Gulf Air Manager Emergency Response Planning, Mrs. Buthaina Hasan Traif, Manager Long-Term Scheduling, Mrs. Hanan Ahmed AlAli, Manager Business Solutions, Ms. Rajwah Khalifa AlDoseri, Management Information Controller, Mrs. Mardheya AMajeed Moosa Mosawi, Repair Specialist and Ms. Hanadi Ahmed Alsayed, Pilot Training Administration Coordinator.
Addressing the airline’s female workforce on the occasion, A/Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Maher Salman Al Musallam said, "I take this opportunity to congratulate all Bahraini women for their significant achievements and contributions to the Kingdom as we celebrate Bahraini Women’s Day today. Gulf Air has, throughout the years, dedicated itself to the advancement of its personnel, and the entire Gulf Air family unites today to celebrate our female workforce and their key role in our national carrier’s positive development. My special thanks go to all for their dedication and support."
