Labib: No women in next gubernatorial reshuffle

Local Administration Minister Adel Labib stressed on Wednesday that the coming gubernatorial reshuffle will not include any women but they might be named as assistant governors.
At a press conference concerning new demarcation of borders among governorates, Labib said the rejection of all nominations to the posts of assistant governors was behind the delay in announcing the gubernatorial reshuffle.
"We finally decided that every governor will hold a competition to pick his assistants," he added.
The reshuffle will include the names of the governors of the newly-created governorates, he added.
