Meeting discusses women’s empowerment in UAE

Mariam Mohammed Khalfan Al Roumi, Minister for Social Affairs, received here Haifa F. Al Kaylani, founder and chairman of Arab International Women’s Forum on Thursday. The meeting discussed ways to boost co-operation between the ministry and the Federation of International Women’s Associations in the areas of women’s advancement. Kaylani hailed the efforts of Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, chairwoman of the General Women’s Union (GWU) for the advancement and empowerment of the UAE women.
